Prin toamna lui 1987,Istvan Feleki ma intreba daca nu sunt dispus sa dau ceva fotografii pentru publicare in almanahul “Elore”(adica : Inainte),ce urma sa para in 1988.Am dat.”Elore”era varianta maghiara a ziarului “Scanteia”,oficiosul Partidului,sau mai exact”Elore” era : Ziar al Consilului National al Frontului Unitatii si Democratiei Socialiste din Romania..Eram curios ce putea iesi din afacerea asta,deoarece in ziare si “almanahe” nu se publicau fotografii,inafara de cea a Tovarasului.Poate revista “Flacara” a fost o exceptie,cind, pentru o scurta perioada,Paul Agarici a publicat citeva reportaje in care a folosit la nesfirsit supersuperangularul.”Almanahele”comuniste,mai ales cele scoase de” Scanteia”erau de necitit.Propaganda ordinara,greata,si cam atit.Mai citeam Almanahul “Urzica”(cind gaseam)-al revistei omonime,care era cica de “satira si umor”.Satirizati erau insa doar chelnerii si frizerii,mai rar cite un “gestionar”,adica un responsabil de magazin,care fura la cintar.Deci,cu un oarecare interes,am cumparat “Alamanahul”,sa vad finalul.Mi s-a parut interesant.Erau peste 30 de pagini cu (asa zise)fotografii.Un fel de timbre alb/negru,ceva mai mariDaca stau bine sa ma gindesc,am publicat atunci prima oara .Am primit si ceva bani pentru asta, vreo 25 de lei.Apoi,am observat ca sunt alaturi de fratii Feleki,Dorel Gaina si sotia,si altii,pe care va las sa-i descoperiti singuri.Ma simteam intr-o companie selecta.Acuma ,stau si rasfoiesc celebrul almanah,si ma gindesc la expozitia domnului Korniss(“Inventar”Cluj,martie 2010).In 1988 avea peste zece ani decind fotografia in Sic,la 10 km de Gherla,frumosul si unicul oras baroc din Romania,in care locuiam in anii aceia.Degeaba.

Koudelka devenea celebru si datorita pozelor cu tigani din Romania. Bresson fotografiase in Romania lucruri pe care nimeni nu le vedea (poate Pandele doar). Fotografii nostri mai bagau o tita in apus si un vulcan noroios. “Singuratate” si “Drumul vietii” erau titluri la ordinea zilei. Ce-i nasol e ca fotografii astia care se apuca acuma de poze se nasc gata bashiti. Cred ca senilitatea se transfera din generatie in generatie cumva, ca nu ma prind. Aia de dau numele lor fotocluburior romanesti nu mor degeaba, spiritul lor de peste de sticla pus pe televizor bintuie si acum membrii cotizanti.
