He has graduated the Faculty of Letters (Romanian-English section) from Cluj-Napoca in 1994.

He makes his living reading, translating and editing books. He writes different texts in different places.

He has been taking photography more seriously only for the past five years. He considers himself an "amateur photographer striving for excellence".

He has been invited to "7 zile" camp for the first time during fourth edition (Sighet, 2003). He wrote the diary of this camp.

He is married to his lovely wife, Kitty and they have two boys.
